Starting with Gait Mechanics:
In walking, the core must be able to remain stable, with good control of the pelvis and rib position while the hips flex & extend, weight shifts through the feet, the torso rotates in correspondence with the hip movements, and the shoulders remain stable position with arm swing
We start on your back (supine), then work our way from sitting to standing, and then begin walking!
Once this is established, we will begin to implement functional movements and activities that you enjoy the most!
